Went to drive my fiet brava, when i applied the brakes the pedal went straight to the floor and had little impact on braking. I checked the brake fluid level and it was below the min level. I've now topped up to the correct level but the problem is still there. I've had new pipe's, pads and discs fitted on last m.o.t. in may. Any sugestions.

it will prorebly be one of the pipes i had my brave 1.8 withe the same problem it was the rear whitch runs under or near the petrol tank have a look to see were the fluid is comeing from

the brakes and clutch share the same fluid and resovoir so one will have a problem such as a leak. being as you've topped up already, keep an eye on the level, and see if you dribble fluid anywhere where you've parked. it's most likely that the clutch slave piston has burst a seal, but you'll soon confirm this by the damp patch left behind, showing somewhere near the clutch slave cylinder. if not , then the brakes.
