Right, been told my brakes will need changing soon. Pad are well worn.
What are my options?
1)Standard pads and discs
2)Standard discs, uprated pads (which?)
3)Uprated discs and pads (which?)
4)Different setup Uno Turbo? Punto GT?
Heeeeeeeeeeeelp. ;)

Was the wife's but its mine now!!
Lowered 40mm: Its a go-kart!!!

Mintex pads on standard discs are better than standard Fiat, cheap option.
Uprated pads will benefit from uprated discs with grooves or drilled holes to allow the gases to vent, otherwise they may overheat and glaze.
Punto front brakes can be fitted, but need 14" or 15" wheels (don't have much info on this, but could find out)
Red dot discs and pads get good reviews, a mate has Brembo discs and Greenstuff pads (about £100 for the parts) and reckons they are spot on.

I didnt rate greenstuff pads, didnt seem to cope with the heat on plain disks, I cooked mine all the time despite running them in as per manufacturers instructions, May try some mintex 1144's next

I like to scrape the door handles on the floor going round corners and try and wear out the front bumper on the road when braking:D
