hi, my front brakes are making a strange grinding noise when i brake ...so i guess the pads are worn.....are they difficult to fit if i bought some.

Hi buddy
they are easy to fit but you will need to buy a clamp for holding the cylinder closed you will get one from halfords or a motofacts dont forget to take the reservoir cap off and put some rag around it to soak up brake fluid and top up when your done,if you can remove both wheels at the same time you can always see how it goes. good luck.

If the pads are ok your dics probably have a rusty lip on them, you can knock the rust of easily enough and file the edges or carefully use a flap wheel or grinding disc to remove the lip. If there is a significant lip you can get them machined by anyone with a lathe or milling machine and make sure to get the correct sized pads when replacing.
