I lost my brake lights and complete instrument panel, after the fuse blew.
Replaced the brake light switch and fuse, everything seemed ok.
2 days later, I lost the brake lights and instrument panel again, fuse blown again.
With the brake light switch disconnected and fuse replaced everything worked fine, full instrument panel, no more blown fuses. But obviously no brake lights.
I went through about 12 fuses.
Eventually I concluded the issue must be a short somewhere. Please see the attached picture. Apparently a common fault. Tailgate to body wiring harness
