I have a broken brake hose clamp. Car failed the mot today on the broken clamp and damaged brake hose.

You can see where it has snapped. The other part is welded to the side of the car.

I am having trouble finding one so may not be available as a spare.

I’m unable to fabricate one using this as a template. Short of welding it back, I’m stuck.

Any ideas anyone.

A bolt with washers through the "snapped through hole" top right plus epoxy, bet it wouldn't move after that?

Use genuine Alradite or other quality epoxy, how did it break?

Our friends at Club500Italia have sorted me one out for a tenner.

It was damaged by the suspension strut getting pushed over in the accident, it’s had new strut, hub, disc and calliper. I hadn’t spotted the damaged hose but didn’t think this was going to be a problem. Now I’ve got a new one on the way I guess two part epoxy and a couple of spot welds will do the job.

I can’t recommend Club500Italia enough. The clamp came today. When I ordered it I sent them a message saying I needed a brake hose too, did they have one they could sell me and send with it. When I opened the box they had included one for free. Great service.

Clamp is now on. Resin bonded and supported by a rivet. Solid as a rock.
