If it's front look through wheel at caliper if end of pad looks like this it's ate
 
Look at ends of pad backing plate if they look like a T its ate

Do tell us if you are talking front or rear.

Make 100% sure to change discs at same time as pads.

Pair of front discs £36.22 that's both discs for total of £36.22
From Mrauto.
Brand is eurobrake but when a set arrived with me the discs were made my SBS(good brand)
If you order your pads from mrauto at same time it will be over £50 and qualify for free delivery.

Choose either Valeo pads or textar pads for your multi from mrauto choice.

no problem , was almost certain you meant front as think rear discs only have one option, but was worth checking to make sure we all talking about the same things.
 
The discs are the same part whichever calliper is fitted.

On that there are drawings of pad out lines.
On The drawing labeled ate its the second pad that you see through the wheel (with the T shape or ears)

The drawing of the Bosch caliper pad shows how different they are so you can be confident .

Will you be fitting yourself?

You are correct they are Bosch callipers.
Mrauto 25% off Bolk brake parts till Sunday code is 25off.
Get pair Bolk discs for £24 and a few pence after discount. They will be fine.
My pad recommendation is either valeo or textar.

I have had two vehicles come to me over the last month with Ferodo pads where the friction material had separated from the backing plate , not good.

Highly recommend Pagid but not listed by Mrauto.

Have TRW on my car and haven't made up my mind about them yet.

Interesting to hear your experiences with Ferodo pads, jw.

Second vote for Pagid discs and pads from me. They are excellent, with progressive bite, well balanced discs that don't warp and not too much dust from the pads.
@kimi1984 - I've still got the set of (Mintex) pads for Bosch front calipers that I mistakenly bought in that thread I linked to. Still in the box, never fitted as I've got ATE calipers. Just a bit dusty! Can send them to you if you cover postage. Send me a PM if you want them.

This is a truly wonky listing. They've posted pictures of both the ATE and Bosch ones! Pagid part number for the Bosch-caliper pads is T5163, so I can only assume that they are actually selling the Bosch-caliper type. But don't blame me if the wrong ones turn up.

No wonder the purchasing public get confused.....

The pads that had shed their friction material were mintex .

Not ferodo .
I have not seen any problems with ferodo pads.

Mintex on front of my partners mk6 fiesta , hate them no bite or feel.

Widemouth you are so lucky you ordered the wrong type and went for pagid.
 
No worries. I thought it strange that you'd had probs with Ferodo. Normally their stuff is very good (and expensive too). I don't particularly like Mintex pads because they seem to make a lot of dust and - as you say - lack feel. I'm not even sure if Ferodo make pads for the Multipla (the ATE calipers anyway). I tried to find some DS2500 for it once and came away disappointed.

kimi - treat yourself to Pagid pads and be done with it.

Best option for kimi , discs from mrauto pay the delivery fee only £5 I think and buy pagid pads from link posted by widemouth.

Widemouth that's a fantastic price for pagid pads , good find[emoji3]
