I am wondering it they removed it, or if the car never had bluetooth to begin with. The steering wheel only has the mute buttons / change radio stations, and doesn't seem to have a call button or the windows button.

Does this mean the car never had bluetooth? And is there a way to solve it (adding bluetooth or blue & me adapter behind the radio, or a lighter bluetooth adapter?)

Advice is greatly appreciated!

They stopped fitting blue and me entirely in 2015/16 and for later cars they had a normal bluetooth set up via the radio.

Sounds like your car never had Bluetooth and so even if you put the oem radio in, that did you still wouldn’t have the steering wheel buttons to operate it.

Best advice would be something like a parrot aftermarket set up if it’s just for calls and a 3.5mm phono to phono Jack for music
