Technical Bonnet Release...

Hello everyone,

Alas something else has gone wrong on my punto.

The bonnet release catch has gone really slack so i dismantled the unit and got hold of the sable but it is just pulling through with ease, indicating it has snapped at the bonnet end.

I have had the car up on axel stands and tried to pop it from underneath but the radiator is in the way.

Before i take the radiator out from underneath or tear into the front bumper has anyone else had this situation and how have they got around it or does anyone know of another way to get to it?

Get an extension inbetween the bumper and the bonnet/grille and undo the latch!
