why does it say "This product is made for track usage only and is not intended by the manufacturer for use on public streets or highway" on the web site for these filters

Probably in case it put your emissions out on the car, you can get fined for that these days, they wouldn't want anyone putting a claim in......

but what worries me is if its not for public streets or highway, then my insurance is going to be void even if i do declair it isnt it?
