blue&me stuck on media player

Just thought I would share a problem and a solution with anyone else that may run into this. Basically yesterday the media player would turn itself on (usb stick with music on inserted) but not play any music (had been working fine). Once I took the stick out and started the car again it would still load the media player as if it was playing music but nothing happened. I went and tried an mp3 player and still no music (radio worked fine) you could still browse the memory stick to a degree but nothing would happen. What I had to do was disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes and now loads the music like a dream! Very strange!

I had this problem too when I first got my car.. the garage did the same as you (disconnect battery) and it works fine now

Disconnecting and then re-connecting the battery has the effect of re-setting the ECU. This was the recommendation that I had when I was fitting a Pipercross CAI so that it could allow for the different intake.
