General Blue cam belt cover color

What does a blue cam belt cover mean? I purchased the Uno Fire motor (condition unknown) to replace the tired push-rod motor in my 1987 Uno sting

I recall those..
And green aircleaner housings..from unleaded fuel roll.out..??
My suspicion is.. it was the era of the 'Panda Colour'.. (think VW Harlequin..)
and was just 'novelty value'
