Does anyone remember one of Blockbuster videos promises

Either you enjoy the movie or you get your money back?

Is that something that really happened or did I dream it up?!

I'm sure, it was ages ago. If you rent a film out of the top ten and dont like it you can get your money back. It was yonks ago. Just wondering............

Yup this was, but ages ago... did it a few times :) (i haven't rented from BB for about 3-4 years now....) - i think it was next rental free tho, rather than money back
 
And I bet there are films to fill and a maximum number of times they will allow it....

Why the sudden interest Charlotte?

At my local video shop (better stocked, nicer people and cheaper than blockbuster) they are great and often tell me whether a DVD is good or not.

Tesco dvd rental via post isn't the cheapest but it is one of the best...it depends on how many DVDs you watch though to as whether it is worth it.
