Bleeping Bravo!?

No people im not swearing at my beloved Italian hatch, my Bravo is bleeping at me!

It only appears to be when im going slowly (less than 20mph) and its only intermittent with no patern to it or lights coming on during it, its just a short high pitched "beep" and then it stops, the car does nothing ab normal (I.E the rev's dont change (apart from their erratic idling habbits but thats a different story) and it dosent judder)

Its a 2000 plate 80SX

Any ideas?!

What are you doing to be going slowly, Letting crawl in gear with no accel, with clutch down up?

Clutch up, Down. In Gear, out of gear, it even does it when im sat still in traffic out of gear with the handbrake on.(and before someone mentions, yes i have turned my phone/stereo off and explored all avenues there)

This sounds like the foul language sensor is playing up.
it is designed to bleep when you let out a string of obscenities at Nova kids, blondes in Corsa's and people who don't thank you for letting them out.

Take it to the Fiat dealer and when he tells you the price to fix it you will turn the air blue, enough to make a trooper blush, with foul language. This will reset the sensor and it should work fine.

Are you sure it bleep and not the alternator belt in need of adjustment ?

I have tried to listen to it and see if it changes, i think its too precise to be anything but an electrical bleep. I dont have an alarm on it (or not one i know about! lol) its just got me confused!

I'd suggest you leave it running and listen outside the car to see if you can track it.
