Styling Blaupunkt GPS - What do I need?

I'm thinking of getting the Punto GPS head unit from ebay, I hear that the unit links up to the speedo but I took my current CD player out and could not find a cable that corresponds to the speedo, can I install one of these myself?

does it come with the reciver? i dont reckon it hooks up to speedo, why would it?

Because when you lose GPS signal the gyro and speedo sensor take over until you get GPS signal back

Surely it just recalculates when signals are picked back up? The same as if you switch the unit off when on the move which I do regularly.

Yeah but its useful if your underground or something, also the speedo link allows the unit to adjust the volume of music/voice navigation, for example when your going faster it gets louder.
Just seeing if there was a way to get one installed

Have not noticed the volume thing have to give it a try

You won't have a problem without gyros and speedo unless it requires it to run (unlikely).
