Technical Bizzare problem

Right filled up with fuel with an 8th of a tank left, did say 50-70 miles then white smoke poured out the back of the motor, no water in the oil or oil in the water, temp did not go up, engine runs but it is not drivable due to this white smoke.I don't think its the head gasket 43k on the clock.I had the clutch changed 2 weeks ago could this have knocked anything off as its close to all the wiring and engine management or is it dodgy fuel from tescos ie diesal in the petrol tank or have the monkeys over filled the engine oil when I had an oil change the same day?

Brava 80sx 16v thingy

advice urgently required before my wallet is surgically removed

sounds like head gaskets gone between a cylinder and a water port

£300-£500 do you reckon?? (please say less )

16v you be lucky to find cheeper than £300 but ring around you never know your luck

what fuel did you put in
I hope NOT diesel
Diesel will give you white smoke at the exhuast end

I cant see how I would put diesal in.... wrong type of nozzle grrrr



Anyone know a garage in the Port Talbot/Maesteg area who could do this sort of work??

If its the head gaskett there will be a white scum under the oil filler lid. WOrth looking at?!?!?!

still doing the bond style smoke screen ? could it be a blocked oil breather pipe(what that is i dunni )

So very fed up with my Brava 80sx 16v I've purchased an old peugot, everything seems to fall apart after 40k nice car but it's open wallet surgery all the time.

not a happy bunny....

Throttle body / inlet manifold cracked? There's water passageways in there too..

Failing that, a bad tank of fuel if it's still doing it?

Could be ? Its almost working but to be honest reliability is not fiats middle name, I'll speak to the mech tomorrow but its definatley up for sale,saying that it will prob go for another 40k now grrr
