General Bit Of A Bump

Heres a pic of my car as it looks now..
on the way to work on friday, someone cut the corner, hit the front of my car, i spun round and they carried on driving.

Gutted is the word mate. unfortunately i was quite shocked after i spun. so i settled myself, got out to look at the damage. and he was on his way. didn't get a plate unfortunatly, all i saw was it was an old range rover.
I dropped the car off at the garage this afternoon.

I got an abarth front bumper for £40 off ebay, in dark blue. which i thought was a bargain.
I got a brand new bonnet, from a place near me- £80, also not bad
And a light off ebay for £35 inc p&p
all i need now is a grill.

It's costing £300 to be sprayed and fitted for me. which i don't think is to bad either. Could have been alot worse.

at least ebay managed to come up with the goods

its labour that you pay for these days not so much parts

Thought of getting an aftermarket grill?? or after genuine fiat one???

lester do some good ones, can also get them off ebay,, but at 40-50 quid quite expensive

yer, ebays always good. am happy to have everythin done so fast realy. got to have a new italian plate made for the front.

I'd still be down the police station telling them the model and colour and where he'd have damage. Leaving the scene of an accident is a serious crime these days whether anyone's hurt or not.

yeh, i reported it, and they just said they'll be in touch if they hear anything... as you will imagine, im not holding my breath.

i just seen that saxo as well

and i have seen that your car has the red scorpion badges as well, i might get some of them for my car

yer the saxo was a bad one. had a head on crash with a vectra. i couldn't see where it said taken by apple iphone. i thought ' i dont remember writing that!' lol, but i see where you mean now.

i debadged the stilo part, just want to rebadge the fiat badges as one of them is slightly discoloured - as though there is water in it

yep, thats it mate, that was my right shin. you can see the pin and screws. wasn't fun. but im alright now.
