I have just noticed that my local Morrison's have started selling Bio diesel. I haven't found out the price difference yet but dose anyone know if a 1999 Marea JTD 105 can use it?

I thought Bio diesel was fine for everything, it's just svo that can only be used in some engines?

Well I called into a Fiat garage on my way home today and spoke to them and apparently Fiat do not recommend bio diesel with any of there engines. So it looks like I will be sticking to the mineral stuff.

I believe it can as Angel Tuning have been running on the stuff in there 2.4 JTD Alfa. All you need to do is change your fuel filter within the first few hundred miles running on bio diesel then make sure you change it more frequently there on after.
Bio diesel at my morrisons has been out for a while, however the price is the same as regular diesel. POINTLESS.

Well if the price is the same its as you said Pointless, I will stick with dino diesel.
I think you will find with bio it will be quieter, get more mpg and it will be nippier, nearly forgot less smoke its great if you have emission problems

I'm not going to take the chance, Knowing my luck it would grind to a halt in a narrow lane while I had the caravan on the back.
I have no bother with mine, going away with the caravan tomorrow. The only thing you have to do is change the diesel filter after about 100mile cause bio cleans all the pipes and things.
