Saw a large Fiat commercial truck on the road today (looks a bit like a 80s garbage truck without the bit that holds the garbage). Its not listed at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_Fiorino - anyone know what model it is? Sorry, don't have a photo of it..

maybe it was an iveco, they're fiats, and could be rebadged in your part of the world.

Iveco has always been part of Fiat. Fiat set the company up in the mid 1970's. Iveco UK did work with Ford at one point to produce a van called the Iveco Ford Cargo.
If the Fiat truck you saw looked like a "garbage truck" then it may have been a Seddon Atkinson, also part of the Fiat Group and owned by Iveco.

Yea thats the one my friends have as a house box, a Iveco Ford Cargo... wait till i tell him... hehe.. although its awfull for rust and starting... ermmm maybe i wont tell him!
Iveco is a joint venture of Fiat Trucks (51%) and Magirus Deutz (49%). The Fire engine above is a Magirus Deutz one produced in Ulm, Germany.
Thanks for the info guys - see you do learn something new everyday! I think its the Eurocargo that I saw (http://www.iveco.com.au/eurocargo.HTM), but a really old one.
