Technical Best uprated pads for a 1.2 8v Punto with ABS

Hi everyone, I've contacted my dealership about getting some uprated brake pads fitted to my 1.2 Active Sport (The standard ones are crap and make too much racket!) What are the best ones to buy overall? I don't want ones that are too mental, just some quiet-running ones that will last a fair while.....

Did you get ABS as an optional extra?

I've got the Black Diamond Predator pads on my 8v. Very happy with them.

Because I brought my car after July the first 2004, the ABS was added into the cost of the car (it's now law that all cars have ABS fitted to them) I still managed to get 1400 quid off of the list price! I think Fiat are in a bit of a hurry to get shot of some motors....
Mr. Coates, would you say the Black Diamond pads are quiet when being used? I don't want to buy some uprated pads and they sound just as bad as the old ones....

Impossible to say mate as I uprated the discs at the same time.

They sound like air brakes now either way!

I'm still looking for some pads for my car because everyone keeps telling me they don't stock any for it! Does anyone know of a stockist of uprated pads for a mk2.5 1.2 8v with ABS? I've heard that Red Dot might do some pads for it, but I'm unable to get a reply form anyone. I've also been told that the Black Diamond ones don't fit my car.

My 8v is non-abs so I'd imagine the pads would be different.

The pads will be different between ABS and Non-ABS.

Unfortunately I don't know of any suppliers. Have you tried googling for them?

Sorry to "bump" this post. But I'm still looking for some uprated pads for my car, but I'm unable to find some. Can anyone help me?
