500 (Electric) "Barb" from Maine

Barb is a 2024 Fiat 500e

Introduction

Just got a new Fiat 500e! Very excited to be getting into the EV journey (I think) and continuing our Fiat journey. I live in Maine and have a 2013 Fiat 500 Pop that is getting ready to retire from her golden years being driven by teenagers and very much enjoyed.
I love the small size of the Fiat and I'm excited for the new 500e we've affectionately called "Barb".

Barb had a rough first week as after charging overnight on a level 1 cable, her 12v batter completely drained and she needed to be towed back to dealer. Stellantis now telling us to avoid using a level 1 cable due to this issue they have seen elsewhere. All good now though and looking forward to getting that level 2 charger installed1
"Barb",

Welcome to the US! I took delivery of a 2024 500e RED model in May. Love it, Love it, Love its. "Sofi" has been a great little car to tool around the N. Shore of MA. Only issue so far has been a noisy AC compressor that is currently being replaced. It took 2 months to arrive from Turin but you're in the rarified atmosphere of esoteric Italian collectables now so you'll have to expect that.

I'm surprised by the report of the level 1 charging issue. I've done nothing but L1 charging with no problems. I drive about 20 miles away day or about 3 hrs at L1.

Can you tell me more about it? Was there a service bulletin released?

Thanks,

David
