General Banging from underneath

Hi all, for a few months I’ve had a banging/clunking noise that I thought was coming from underneath the car near the back. Driving me mad sounded like exhaust or heat shields knocking. My local garage said it was near side front drop link and both rear shocks were empty of oil and were not damping at all.All replaced and now car is perfect and quiet. Car is a2019 1.4tjet with 50k miles. Was amazed the drop link making the clunking sound when pulled on car ramp but could have sworn it was coming from the rear. So if your car is making a clunking sound check the front drop links.
