I was thinking of trying banger racing until i saw this

And i bet the driver got out totaly unscathed! It isnt like the old times nowadays, these cars are safer than most road cars. Although they are only a shell with an engine, have you ever seen the roll bars etc that are welded in .

I tried Banger Racing once.I put my money on the Chipolata to beat the Hot Dog but was pipped at the post by the Salami...................

Oh yes matt I used to drive similar I did a few years of track racing [grass]the big differance is our cars didnt start life as scrapers and end up in scrap yards a big Hello to Cardiff & District Auto grass [my No CD13] :slayer:
