have done/am in the middle of doing my badboi bonnet

but it sits on the lights and the bonnett wont close

i have moves it as far forward ont both sets of hinge bolts (bonnet 10mm bolta and wing allen key bolts)

but its not far forward enuf

do i

1)bore out the holes on the wing side of the hinge
2) bore the holes of the bonnet side of the hinge
3) move the lights back

thanks:!:!:!:!:!!:!:!

what loop?

and if i raise the braket it will sit higher than the wing!!

(my car was in a front end smash that y its a bit out of line!!)

with my old one had to undo the bonnet catch in the engine bay and move it up as far as it would go then had to take tje lights out and *cough* reshape the headligh support with a hammer
not very pretty but it worked

see this is the problem with doing it ur self.
the best way is the way i have developed takes more work but the bonnet dose not need to sit 2 mile forward of where it used to be in sted it sits where it always was.
but my surgestion for u is to extent the slots in the bonnet hinge adjusters

I just took a Dremel grinder to the holes in the hinge where it bolts to the wing and made them oval, then moved the catch forward by putting washers between it and its mounting plate. I toyed with the idea of cutting the top part of the hinge and welding a strip into it to extend it but didn't have to. Moving the headlights back is pure hell, and unless you are handy with a Mig welder I'd avoid it (I'm handy with a Mig welder and even I chickened out of it)

Cheers,
