Coming back from alton towers the other day one of my indicators went off, so i got out, and knocked it, and it worked, but my left hand side driving light went off, so i got back in, and put full beam on to see if that worked, and yes it did, i turned it off and both lights worked!! later on i was going rounf llandudno, put my full beam on, and smoke started coming out the steering wheel ???

Any1 know whats up ?? ive checked all the fuses, im gonna check for damp on the bulbs later too

Could be a short, check the wiring hasn't chaffed anywhere and there's no wires touching bodywork.

Smoke outta your steering wheel?!?!?
Should'nt do that even if the lights were shorting, as the horn works on a different circuit, does'nt it??

The wiring for the headlights is all routed via the column - for the main / dipped beam switch. could be the problem.

That actually does snd very dodgy [:0] My head lights back in winter played up once i'd switch them on and they'd cut off switch them back on and they'd cut off then they clicked back into live and have been fine ever since strange tho.
