Styling bad boy bonnets

Hi all.

I notice some cinq owners have their bonnets badboy'd and was wondering if anyone would share their info on how they did it.

From what I gather the front of the bonnet has to be brought outwards a little to make room for the eyebrows to go over the head lights.

Also, while I'm at it I plan to debadge the bonnet then fill the hole with body filler. However, someone told me not to do it because eventually the filler will crack and it will show through the paintwork. Is this true, cos I didn't think it would...

I kno whitterz got his done wait 4 a reply from him he'll b able 2 tell u.. Plus yes the bonnet needs bringing forward for the eybrows. Ill guess they weld 2 metal plates in and smooth off with filler.

i have also got a bad boy bonnet, also had all the badges removed. This is something i would not try myself.

Goto a bodyshop and get them to do it mate, bonnet is welded straight in a line across the lights, then filler is used to get the edge straight, yes filler will crack in the badge hole, if u get a bodyshop to do ur bad boy, they will weld the little hole up for ya NP at all,

also filler sinks get them to put some weld in the hole then girnd it back and use a small amount of filler

that is cause u cant buy badboy bonnets... they are just standard bonnets with bits welded over the lights, any decent body shop can do u one for about £150-£200

I would thought it would be Ok Donz, I'm thinking of smoothing my bumpers with fibreglass and skimming with filler.

my smooth boot door has been done with fiberglass an body filler.

small bit of fiberglass at the back an then just filled, sanded, an sprayed!

but it is black haha, so got to save up the £160 to get it sprayed imola blue then we are well away!

It'd be easy to diy if you can weld though wouldn't it?

Mase, do all the prep yourself and get the bodyshop to spray the top coats on - you'll get the same results and you'll save a fair chunk of cash!

be careful with the badboys though as most will be moulded to the car its meant to go on, might be slight inperfections, which means you in trouble if they are

Yeh well it was originally Shiftys sig so I just changed some bits around on it !!
