these are them, they do say on the reviews that they do have a tendancy of letting tyres down so hopefully i wont have this problem now theyre gone?

Hi,

Its highly likely that they will be the cause if Kwikfit has done as they say and checked all the other usual suspects.

I always advise against those type of valve caps as they always seem to leak after a while, and I have also seen a few where the plastic bit has flown out of the end causing fairly rapid deflation of the tyre. Not good if your on the motorway.

Plus due to the fact that they stick out a fair way past the end of the valve, they are susceptible to getting wacked/damaged/ cracked by kurbs.

I have a slow puncture on my drivers back wheel, I done an 8 hour journey from Scotland down to Essex and it was fine, I just stopped at services every few hours to keep on top of tyre pressure. That's on my to do list

People dont know how to fit tyres these day's.

its all rush jobs. :(
they shouid dip the whole wheel in water before fitting it back on the car.

ialways ask my tyre fitter to dip the wheels.

that isnt always a guarantee tire doesnt leak air

had a guy change my tire from one rim to another, i told him to spray water on the inside rim from each side, no air bubbles at the time, ive put it on the car and boom it was flat next day
