B&M Compatability with Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc

Hi Everyone

I'm thinking of upgrading to the SE Xperia Arc next month. I've used a couple of SE handsets previously with B&M and found that they support all the features of the system, including reading out your txts. Just wondered if anyone is already using the Xperia Arc with B&M and if so, does it fully work?

Hi,

Can't comment personally, however when I looked at writing an app to provide Android support for SMS Reader I found it nearly impossible as there is no class within the Android Bluetooth Stack (i.e. Android out of the box doesn't support this - it would require extra legwork by Sony Ericsson, but not impossible).

Older SE phones weren't Android based, hence I believe these worked OK. Hope this helped somewhat.
