Hey first time poster & recent owner of an 06 Punto Grande (having had an 03 MK2 which broke my heart & sank my bank balance!) Anyway in my excitement in getting my new car I went off & brought an AUX cable for a Grande Punto. Only after I had placed the order did I realise the buttons on my radio (see picture below!) don't correspond to any buttons on any guides (or even the radio manual that came with the car). I have now got the cable & it does plug into the back.

So in short I'm just wondering

a) is my radio even compatible with an AUX input?

b) if so what combination of buttons do I need to press to get to it?

EDIT:

Some more images that might help (apologies for the crap quality, suck with an awful phone for the next few days!)

Looks like my daughter's car. I think you just press "source" multiple times to cycle through Tuner, CD and Aux. Does it have steering wheel controls for the radio? Try pressing one of those that looks like it might most correspond to "source". (On my daughter's car, the button is labelled "CD"but it dos the same job).

Yeah so I've tried the SRC button which I suppose is the closest it cycles through FM, MW, LW radio bands, then CD & back to FM again; I'm starting to worry it just doesn't have an AUX function!

I had been thinking that, however the AUX fits into the port perfectly! I might just buy a newer Grande Punto radio, can I just unplug all the cables & plug them into the new one? Or do I have to bring it to some garage? (Sorry very clueless question there!) Also if I were to buy a newer radio with AUX compatibility, I presume that will be okay in this car right?

Are you sure there is no button for aux?
Maybe try to push something else when you're in cd mode so you can switch to aux?

I've never seen a stock radio like yours so I don't really know.

Yes you can switch the unit, just make sure it comes with radio code. You will need it to pair it with the car or it will not work.

I've definitely pressed every button, I will however give a try while in CD mode! Okay & I presume inputting the code is fairly easy???

Perfect, I'll just have to wait for a reasonably priced one to come up on Ebay now! :)
