General Aux Belt Tensioner

Is there any adjustment on the auxillary belt tensioner. mine is leaning down slightly and running the belt up onto the pulley shoulders, shreding it

you dont say what engine you have but its likely if its not adjustable you will need a new one

no adjustment, it is spring loaded to maintain the correct tension, sounds like yours has failed, a scrapyard replacement will cost you £3.
