Technical Arial? Can it be cut?

If i was to cut the arial in half (make it more like a bee-sting already sprayed the rubber tip thingy) would my radio still work as well? or would i get crappy signal? []

what can i use to cut it? would some wire clippers work or something? dont want some semi-cut bits all down my arial []

I used wire cutters. Just be sure they aint blunt

btw, does ur cinq have sunroof? or only certain yr onwards? (doesnt look like it has 1 in ur pics on that other thread thingy)

No, doesn't have one. They were an option aparently according to the brochure. Not really bothered though, Sunroofs are really there for passengers to stick their arses out of it or more leg room for the missus! Oo-er!!

hmm, more to go wrong really (mine's got one [])

Does anyone know how to close the sunroofs? i think theres a trick to it rather than forcing it down till u hear a crack and it closing []
