Afternoon all

I am wondering if someone uses autodata or a similar automotive program to give a time for a job to be carried out. It's not a fiat it's a Ford but a dealer I feel is trying to mug me off for Labour big time.

Any help would be great

thank you dave.

i dont want to go into too much detail as this is garage has now been taken to court by myself but the said garage took 10 weeks to complete the job ( after promising it would be returned to me within a week) and are charging over 40 hours....

this any good?

it was behind the sofa

R & I = remove and install

S & R = strip and rebuild

separate is splitting gearbox and engine after that its normally only 6 bolts to change clutch, if its dual mass i dont know if its longer

so removing stripping and rebuilding refitting is half the time that they have said just for remove and refit

any of the bill say any thing about extra time for seized or broken bolt removal?

Theres not much info is there,

eg. what engine as gone in, (secoundhand)? (RE/Con)?
have they rebuilt this engine,? Rember they will use original turbo /pump/injectors etc..so it racks up the labour cost's.

im not here to defend the garage btw,
