Anyone recommend any good gearbox additives?

Seriously thinking of flogging the 1.4 and the gearbox is not liking first and sometimes second gear selection. Loathing replacing the thing so was gonna try an additive first?
Ive seen one called 'Molyslip' which seems to be highly recommended on other forums etc, any suggestions guys?

I get the same problem in my 1.4.

Just change the oil for some new stuff.
