General Anyone know where to get rear hub back plates?

I,ve put my rear brake overhaul on hold for now.

I,ve had a rotten day of it and got nowhere but I do know I need a pair of good useable rear hub backplates.
Both mine are rotten along the bottom edge.

Any sugestions of good (read cheap) source of parts welcome.

Anyone?

Try Fluffy the Impaler (search will find) or Shop4Parts (google). Generally a false economy to not use new ones -- they don't cost an arm and a leg.

Well I,m ok with S/H parts so long as they,re not as worn out as the parts you,re trying to replace.

Found a pair on ebay but works out over £60 inc delivery.
That seems a bit steep for a couple of pieces of pressed steel.

I,ll try those contacts tho.

£60 is nuts for them. Usually they're known as brake back plates.

Just found out they are 26.85 plus vat from a dealer.

Can anyone do me a pair for £40 in vat and delivery...perhaps
