No its a Nissan Micra underneath. Quaint things.
Its a Nissan Figaro, Built in the early 90s on the Micra platform
2 seats, 1 litre turbo engine, back in 1991 it was quite advanced, but if not looked after they rust badly, as all the nice chrome trim likes to trap water against the body.

They were Japanese domestic market only. But, as the Japanese tend to keep things for a short time then dispose of them, many have been exported to the UK, as RHD is easy. I believe there are now more here than in Japan.
