Styling Anyone got 215 wide wheels on there Mk2?

Has anybody got 215 wide wheels on there Mk2 Punto? I just bought 215 wide 17's from Fiat and was looking today at my arches and have been thinking there ain't gonna bemuch room when there on and they may rub quite a bit?

Any body confirm if they do or not and if so how badly or what action to take (cheap and easy) to stop the rubbing?

Nope I boutgh 215 wide from Fiat. They say they'll fit but I wanna know whether I'll need spacers, remover arch liners etc etc??

Well they will fit but whether I'll need to rebuild my arches after I take the first corner I don't Know

Thinking about it now, the front wheels wont be too bad, the arch lining is soft and shouldnt cause any damage. But the back isnt the same, theres a bolt right next to the rim and this sometimes catches my 205 width wheels. After fitting a spacer its helped, but I think it might cause some problems with the 215 width :S

I said in the other thread though, that ive seen a couple of mk2s with these wheels fitted so I could be wrong.

Not sure about 215's, but ive had 205's on and needed a little work done
