I thought it was nothing like a 126 bonnet. I was the Fiat Motor Club's 126 registrar for some years many moons ago. Haven't had one for ages though and didn't want to argue with you knowledgeable folk. I think its a Panda bonnet, surely?

May i just ask which car it is you are referring to which is a mess. Is it the home made bodged panda lookalike or the genuine Moretti Minimaxi ?

Hello Dean.
The picture in the first post of this thread is the vehcile being mentioned.

Someone was on holiday on Crete and snapped the picture which was featured on a different website. It appears to show a somewhat battered MiniMaxi, which at some point in time has had a Mk1 Panda grille grafted onto it. The bonnet may also not be the original.

Battered and hand painted it may be but its is still running.

Yours is coming on really well and I look forward to seeing it when completed.
