Title says it all!

I'm currently in the process of importing a 126 from Italy and have a shift knob that was a gift from a dear friend many years ago. It's been in a lot of my cars that meant a lot to me so would love to be able to mount it in the 126 when it arrives!

Anybody know what the thread pattern/pitch is on the 126's gear lever? :)

Cheers!

Did Google banned you from searching such basic information? You need forum?
Wait till the car arrives, then check the thread.
Standard should be M10x1,25 (but some say it's M8 or other size/pitch). So wait.

@GrandePunto PL Wow, no need to be so rude, and way to go being so kind to a new member of the forum... :cautious:

Yes, I did use Google to search for this, but most stores selling replacement knobs don't mention the thread pitch/pattern at all, and I found various sites saying it was M10, and others saying it was M8, as you ALSO say, so I was hoping somebody would be kind enough to provide positive specific clarification, not curtly call me out...

YOU don't even say which it is for certain, so you can see my reason for asking 🫤

I don't see the harm in me asking in advance, as it means I can order parts ahead of time so they are already here for when the car arrives!

@GrandePunto PL usually does that, I think you caught him in a bad day! 😁
I wish you other colleagues who know for sure to come and answer your question.
Otherwise, as our colleague rudely mentioned, you'll have to wait and possibly post the answer yourself after you ge your 126.
