General Any Strada Shells Anywhere?

Hi everyone,

A rather random question here, and i don't suppose it will turn up anything, but worth asking in case! I have been sourcing an engine for my Delta HF Turbo, and have acquired an immaculate 130TC engine. I could use the block, and with Delta pistons and my Delta head put it straight into the Delta. Would make for a nice project as it upgrades my Delta from a 1..6 turbo to a 2.0 turbo (without the balance shaft block so essentially a straight swap) and gets her back on the road. However i do feel a little bit guilty harvesting a perfectly good Strada engine just for the scarcity of both engines and cars. Which makes me think, is there a shell out there (happy to do welding if not in great condition) that is wanting for an engine? I have always fancied a Strada, and is one of the cars that has eluded me so far.

But being LHD, i think i may prefer a RHD if one was sat somewhere. so, a complete shot in the dark, but does anyone know of a Strada wanting saving and needing an engine?

Well firstly, thank you for considering alternative Strada uses for he engine you have acquired.

I look on this two ways:

1) other Strada 130TC owners / users

2) your specific Delta rebuild / upgrade requirements

Unless you get a positive and worth while offer for the 130TC engine than I would, were I you with a Delta project in which my hear and pocket were invested, I would put the 130TC engine to *my* best use and sell on - not required parts.

I say the above with heavy heart as 130TC stuff is these days rare but also, as you have found, are Delta HF Turbo parts. Both need to survive and be a testament to the old Fiat and Lancia 80's days.
