Any Ideas??

Going to be putting the ICE in my car after xmas but don't want to loos emuch boot space, Going to have a space saving sub (wheel arch box) and replace the std speakers with components so any suggestions on the following:-

1) Where to mount the amps, Any alternatives apart from back of rear seat?

2)Is there enough room behind the rear passenger side cards to mount rear comps. And would it be safe to fix them into the door card?

3) Are 2 way 6X9's the same as comps or better/crapper?

You either have 6x9's or a sub, never both.

Don't bother with components/any speakers in the back, spend money on the front ones and get better ones.

Build a false floor to hide the amps?

i have seen amps mounted under the rear seats but i'm not sure how this would effect cooling!

Depends on the amp and if you are going to drive everywhere at full blast

Mine has been under the rear seat for a long time but I'm doing a boot build as I now have amps that are too big to fit under the rear seats.

i thought about a false floor but i still want to get access to the spare wheel, I already have a aluminium chequerplaye floor and at the mo am chopping this and putting a hinge down it so it folds over to get to the wheel
