i am going to purcase a sony Active Sub, XSAW81P5, http://www.mcs-direct.co.uk/acatalog/info_2_XSAW81P5.html

and a Sony HU, CDXF5500, http://www.mcs-direct.co.uk/acatalog/info_3_CDXF5500.html

i was wondering if anyone on here have used these products, any advice, wot did you think of them?

also has anyone ever use MCS Direct, were they good??

No offense but you can find better deals on the sub. The head uit isnt bad, but again try someone like bassjunkies who are very reputable. Dont want to put you off though.

just checked out bass junkies, sub is £50 more,

going to local ice shop tomorrow to get a quote, they've also got some cheap sony gear in because local sony centre shut down recently and had to flog their stuff.

Thats coz the sub is a special for that company but if you look at bassjunkies specials you can see some amazing savings. Especially the head unit. But it all depends if you want Sony and what sort of install you are going to go for...

just got the HU (Sony HU, CDXF5500) from empire direct for £99! Saving of £80 on rrp.

will fitting be easy?? will i need an adaptor for the iso?? i drive a seicento sporting and it has a sony cd player in already

Yes, unless you want to put decent wiring in then you can cut the wires.

oh sorry, wasnt reading it all. lol It will already have an ISO adapter in unless theyve cut the wires. Then all you have to do is tag em up and swap em over.
