Also, can you keep this to one thread ? Saves a lot of confusion 
As for the 1.4, don't bother. Of the entire range it's the worst engine and was quickly relaced by the better performing 1.2. The 1.4 suffers from dire fuel consumption too.

the most important question here... how much you wanna spend???
What condition should the bravo be in and are there any features ie. air con... you wish the car to have??
My JTD is forsale.. but it's not cheapest Bravo you can get.

for a little more you can get a mk1 hlx, great value for money and cheap insurance to for a 1.8 16v

Not very many differances you can see/hear/smell etc..
i can tell the differance by the badges - on the side of a mk1 you will get the engine size
i.e 1.4 12v
on a mk2 you will get bhp and model Spec,
i.e 80SX = 1.2SX.
and the mk2 rear light clusters are slightly tinted,
