Another UT project

About five months ago i found advertisement on internet auction:

buy it now price was 1300zł - about 230punds

so me and my brother bought it for... 1000zł (about 180 pounds )


after few days:
we made a few changes:

- cone air filter
- free flow 2" exhaust system without mufflers
- boost presure raised to about 1.0bar
- drivers bucket seat and 3 point seatbelts

engine was in good condition so... we went for a race

15.8 ET wasn't so bad for 20 years old uno



but it is the end of happy story...

body was in realy bad condition...
rear damper mounts almost dosen't exist...
floor was full of holes...

we must rebuild them...
it was begining of long restoration

we made a fev improvments for example:
bucket seat was changed for sparco sprint
-60mm H&R spring were installed

it is very low budget project so evrything go on very slow....

we are going to install:
- FMIC with stainless steel piping
- 4 point 3" seat belts
- sport dampers
- monual boost controler
- rollcage

we are preparing this car for historic hillclimb events

Good stuff loving it. sorry to hijack, where can I get one of these Uno Turbos, sound like a great crack? I've had a look out on ebay but most of them that appear are scrap and overpriced. Rust buckets and non runners going for hundreds of pounds.

i'll do it in about two months

first i must change exhaust system, i have 2" pipe 0 mufflers, it is to loud

i'm going to change it to 2,5" pipe with one free flow HKS look muffler
