Had the car for almost a year, just joined the Forum

I've been tidying the car up. Fitted a wireless CarPlay head unit. Looks like the sump is leaking so will look to fix that this week

Hi and welcome Looks very tidy.
The sumps are famous for rusting and becoming porous. Unfortunately a bit fiddly to replace - they're held on with sealant and the exhaust manifold & cat typically need removing for access. Plenty of info on the forum though, from members who've done them

The main body is galvanised, so corrosion generally shouldn't be too much of a concern, but the main rust areas are:

• rear axle spring pans
• rear sills (access to treat rust via rubber bung in rear wheel arch and base of b-pillar)
• rear bump stop turrets - prise off bump stop and inject rust treatment through hole
• coolant return pipe across front of engine
• engine sump pan
• mud trap behind front springs
• brakes (build-up of rust on sliding surfaces of front calipers & inside of rear drums)
• shock absorbers & springs
• exhaust bracket below cat
