General Another one for hgt owners

Im seriosuly thinking about replacing the saxo now with a hgt, ive seen a y reg 01 model for a resoanble price not to far from were i live

just a few questions

are these cars relaible ?

do they feel quick when driving them, as my current vts does not feel that quick at all yet a lot of people say they are fast and im unimpressed with it

how are they built do they feel cheaply put together or pretty robust ?

any major problems you lot have had ?

HGT will weigh more than your VTS. I owned a VTS for 3 years (before they became ned magnets), i don't think you'll find a better car for the money. If your not impressed with the performance you must be driving the car too often!

Go abroad for a fortnight and you'll be impressed with the performance when you return.

I love my HGT (Y reg, 2001), but make sure the variator has been replaced if necessary (see other posts regarding my thermostat) and bear in mind the servicing costs if it's still under warranty. Mine feels really solid, it's great!

michael where do you live maybe you could try a couple out before making a decission

or pop on to www.puntomk2.co.uk there are lots of hgt owners on there

i have owned mine for 18 months and am still happy with it

dependant on how you use the car will be the amount of times you have to fix it
