Im Andrew aka ABYSS and im currently looking to buy a 1.9 JTD Grande Punto Sporting
I own a Astra forum www.astraownersnetwork.co.uk which also includes the Triple 8 Owners Club and www.astra-vxr.com
My current car owes a lot to its success to Fiat as it uses the 1.9 Twin Overhead cam 16V Fiat/GM 1.9 CDTI.
She started out life as a basic Astra 1.9CDTI SRI 150PS
but is currently running
220bhp and 355lbft of torque.
which included a trip to The Ring
And a 156mph blast down the Autobahn in Germany :worship:
Weve been working on this for nearly 10 months, and shes now running a new hybrid turbo (looks 100% OE) FMIC and a full Magnex exhaust
On top of this shes running software from EDS in germany, 343MM Four Pot Alcon brakes, Compomotive Alloys, and a set of Recaro Sportster CS's
I love forum life, and as well as the astra site i also own www.dieseltuninguk.com with our partners DAP Performance we plan on making a very special Fiat Punto Sporting which could eventually run the same set up as The Hearse.
So im hoping you guys and girls can keep me right, and let me know any potential problems we may face with the punto
