I think the so-called 'real' iceman should sort his avatar out before he starts telling everyone else what they can/cannot post on here! Lol sort it m8!!!

If your buying the amp from a stereo shop MeAcHeM theyl probably do u a deal for the amp and a wiring kit as a package

Go into a proper ICE shop (not halfords!!) before spending any money to make sure you get the right gauge of wire, if you go to thin the wire can catch fire or you will just keep going through fuses.
Also, if you are going to upgrade your stereo at a later date then its best to spend a bit extra on the wire to start with, other wise you will just have to rip out the old wire and start again, more expense and more install time.

Hope this helps, im running 4 guage at the mo but need to go up to 2 or 0 gauge which is going to cost alot of money!!

If ya get stuck at all search google or forums casue loadsa people post pics and tutorials of when they did their ice installs.

Also if u goto the manufactors website for the amp they normally have online Documents for their products which may have wiring diagrams ect..

One word...

T W A T

Theres no need to be like that with someone. IIRC Your posts have been of a dubious nature as far as your knowledge goes, before you start criticising everybody, make sure you know EVERYTHING first.

Nobody knows everything, theres always someone who knows more than you...

How powerful/whats the wattage of your amp?

Cos the different gauge wire that Steve-o was talking about would only really matter if the amp was over, say, 600w. Under 600w, a £10 amp wiring kit would do

Take no notice of what the 'real' iceman was saying. Ive just been looking at some of his past replies and there total rubbish! £250 for rockford fosgate when u could get Focal! And telling someone there headunit was crap!
Sounds like a dickhead to me, or worse still A CHAV!!!

This isnt a slanging match, although i dissapprove at what 'ice man' said dont turn the thread into a 'hate' campaign against him.

I know sod all bout ICE but because I have bodged together many installs and none off them have gone on fire yet and they all still sound the same as when I first set them up.

As for focal, WOW... i dont really rave about products, but i put some in my mates car, there crystal clear at every stage of volume that there set:D
