amp and front speaker interferance

i installed a amp to power my 6x9's and thought id done a decent job, but now after a bit of tinckering of the settings on the HU ive noticed if i have the front - rear setting close to the middle i get interence in the front speaker. it doesnt happen if i set it to either extreme and the front speakers works fine if no music is sent to the rear.


ive tried moving the phono cables away from the front speaker cables, and ive got the amp remote and battery cable running down the other side of the car so no were near the speake cables

Is your setup:

HU powers front, amp powers 6 x 9 rear or is the amp powering them all?

Is it a general buzz or does it follow the revs?

Check that your head unit and amp earths are good.

the front are wired direct in to the HU

the amp is wired in the hu

then the 6 x 9s come off the amp



it sounds like the speaker is rattling, it doesnt correlate to the revs at all
