depends on which punto, but yes 6 hours is excessive for any punto. Aparantly a 2.0 20v Coupe turbo clutch can be done quicker 
. Should be looking around about 2hrs labour if all goes well.

Hey dude,
I have used Turnin motors in Leeds for my coupe and Fiat, brilliant service although I'm not sure if they will fit parts they didnt supply and I think they only do genuine parts.......
Just a question, why do you want to fit this clutch kit?? Have you mod your car that much it needs the extra bite or something??
are you not better waiting until you decide on what mods your going to do ie Charger/Turbo converstion/ engine internals then choose an appropriate cluthch to take the BHP. (just a suggestion as dont see anypoint wasting money or time doing it now if you have to change later or might as well do it when engine is out to do what your looking to do)

Theres a development, i was changing the clutch cause i thought it was nackered, could not get into 4th but been told its my diff or something, i thought linkage but been told NO! gonna get a secondopinion on monday but god knows what to do now

Syncro mesh?
yeah i read that on here to but they did'nt even mention mesh or linkage just said need to send gearbox to another garage for a referb which was gonna cost £180 labour to take out then £358 for referb and £25 for oils. how does this sound to you guys, "am i being robbed"
Yes i think so, im sure you can get a good second hand box for under £100 and fitting is easy you could do it yourself.

check the gearbox linkage first, my jtd had a spell of refusing to go into 4th when warm without being brutal, had the linkage adjusted, been fine since. gearboxes on modern cars are tough, as long as you dont forget to check the oil once in a while
Firstly Finding a good HGT will be hard to start with and secondly for under a hundred pounds you got no chance
to be honest its more likely to be that syncro mesh its self - look out for a gear box specialist i would imagine that they could full recon the box for £350 oh and remember to fit a new clutch there is no point in putting an old clutch in a recon box
