Technical Alternator Reworking, How Much?

Hey all,

Managed to get the alternator off my seicento (cheers all who gave advice) now i was just wondering what kind of cost i should be looking at to get it 're-worked' or reconditioned. Anyone got a ballpark figure?

I would have thought 50 squids would be about right, that's how much it is for a mini one, can't be a lot different.

I paid £25 (IIRC) for new bearings in mine, the regulator and brushes were ok and didn't need touching though.

£50 seems steep you can get a reconned one for not much more.
