Technical Alternator belt replacement

i need to replace the alternator belt in my Fiat punto 1999 1.2 8v and i was wondering if i could replace it or will it have to be a garage job? The car has no air conditioning

Easy enough, if a little awkward. Get a manual.

Very easy if you have a basic tool kit.

Jack car up and support.

Remove drivers side front wheel and arch liner.

Slacken 2 alternator bolts remove belt.

Replace belt and tension belt, do up bolts tight.

Replace liner and wheel - job done.
